Used 6" 32:1 Egan extruder having electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop) non-vented barrel at approximately a 42" centerline height. Gearbox is a Philadelphia model 3218xs having a 16:1 reducction ratio and is direct driven in a wrap-around manner by a 400 hp dc motor.

Used 4.5" 38/1 L/D HPM model 4.5 tm 38 extruder having a six zone electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop) and side vented barrel at approximately a 42" centerline height. Panel has ten zones oof eurotherm model 808 controllers.

3.5" sterling Vented Extruder

Used 3.5" sterling 30/1 L/D vented extruder. Extruder is equipped with side vent, electrically heated, water cooled barrel, belt driven to 100 HP reliance DC motor with SCR control. Has hopper with pnneumatic receiver and feed throat magnet.
